About Sarah
Sarah Ryan is a barrister specialising in residential property and tenancy law with over twelve years of experience advising tenants, landlords, housing bodies, and One Stop Shop providers across the West of Ireland.
She qualified from the King’s Inns in 2013 after completing her LL.B at NUI Galway, and has since built a practice focused on the practical realities of Irish housing — from RTB disputes and Part 4 tenancies to boundary disagreements and adverse possession claims.
Sarah regularly represents clients before the Residential Tenancies Board and the Circuit Court, and has contributed to several published guides on Irish tenancy law. She is a member of the Law Society of Ireland’s Property Law Committee and lectures occasionally at NUI Galway on residential property matters.
On Legally.ie, Sarah reviews answers in tenancy, property, and conveyancing categories — ensuring that every published response reflects the current state of Irish law and the practical realities tenants and landlords face on the ground.
